Project Hail Mary (March 20)

I’ve read and watched The Martian and I absolutely loved it. I’ve also heard that Project Hail Mary is Andy Weir’s finest, I’m excited to watch the movie and I hope to read the book beforehand.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (April 3)

I liked the The Super Mario Bros. Movie, I will watch everything with Jack Black in it. He makes every movie entertaining.

Disclosure Day (June 12)

Haven’t watched a Spielberg movie since Ready Player One. I liked the premise of Disclosure Day - humanity’s first encounter with intelligent alien life.

Toy Story 5 (June 19)

I think they’ve juiced the franchise enough, but I’ll still be there to watch it.

Supergirl (June 26)

The 78th rebirth of DCEU? I liked superman last year, want to see what Gunn does with the new DCU. I know I skipped Clayface but I will watch it, just not a movie I’m looking forward to.

The Odyssey (July 17)

I know it’s a boring pick, but this is my most anticipated movie of the year. I watched the teaser in IMAX before the recent Avatar: Fire and Ash, I loved every bit of it. The sound design was simply amazing.

Spider-Man Brand New Day (July 31)

It’s almost avenging time again after almost 7 years. I will avoid spoilers, but I really do hope they tie stuff together well after the last Spider-Man movie. I’m forever excited for Marvel movies, they have not been the same since Endgame but hopefully the good times are returning.

The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender (Oct. 9)

A whole new ATLA story?? The original animated series was a masterpiece. I pray that they do it justice.

Jumanji 4 ( Dec. 11)

Jumanji is my favorite type of movie, switch your brain off and have a good time. It’s cool to hate on the Rock and him being in such movies but I really like the genre of movies he appears in. They’re always fun and unserious. It’s quite sad that movies like Jumanji are rarely being made these days, I understand people don’t go to the movies much anymore so it’s difficult to produce movies that won’t be a certain hit. I just wish there were more fun stupid movies. Also Jack Black’s in it.

Avengers: Doomsday (Dec. 18)

My second most anticipated movie, it’s time for the Russo brothers to cook. I hope the setup is great for next year’s Secret Wars.

Dune: Part Three (Dec. 18)

I’m not the biggest fan of the franchise. I liked the second movie, the first movie not so much but the music and the world building will drag me to the cinema.
